As this is Wurz' first race, I guess he will have a new engine too.

Realistically he will need some atrition ahead to score any points, as the car isn't fast enough yet, and Massa will p[robably still be ahead of him.
Oh well, it was a long shot anyway.

O/T: To any engineers out there. If the cooler ambient temp at Imola is less stressful, wouldn't the same cooler moist air help the engines produce more power and therefore put strain back on?

cool moist air = slower = less power
hot dry air = faster = more power

Or something to that effect...

Other way around actually. So the engines will produce more power and therefore more stress is put on the engine. Also at Imola, when the cars bounce over the kerbs the rear wheels often lose contact with the track, which allows the engine to hit its limiter, which is to be avoided if possible.

Cold air is more dense, therefore can be mixed with more fuel at any given engine speed, which equals more power.

Beat me to it Martyn - cool conditions are often referred to as "engine weather".

Cool, dense air also means more downforce - when you could wait and choose you quali lap moment the teams would often wait for a cloud t go over.

Yes, cool air is best for times for all the reasons above.

Yes. However, on the other side, hotter temperatures are bad for reliability as the engine runs hotter.

All practice/qualifying sessions for Le Mans are at night! Although it is evening and night and the Wednesday night session tends to be the favoured time. Not only for the conditions, but because the first day is best for qualifying times (second day for more race set-up) and the second later session has a cleaner track.
