Texaco would look very nice on an F1 car; but as they stopped sponsoring Newman-Haas, I guess they're not interested. (Pause for nostalgic dream of red-and-black Eggenberger Sierra...)

In the F-Nippon, IBM sponsored Satoshi Motoyama's IMPUL car at the first six races of 2000 (not 2001) season. There are the photographs:

"Streering by Trojan to help the driver get good feel"
Oakley "F1 is so high tech, even the sunglasses look fast" And heres a list that surprises me doesn't already have a very public role: Nike Gatorade NASA (they seem to have the bankroll) and where is Boeing/Airbus/Lockheed Martin? Last edited by avsfan733; 27 Jul 2003 at 03:10. |

I think the very best sponsor for one of the teams would be a local Aussie retailer of end of line, and cheap junkorama called "The Reject Shop"
You could put it on a few of the cars, indeed some of the drivers could have it for personal sponsorship |

There have been one Trojan F1 car, but that, of course had nothing to do with the latex products.

I mentioned this over 12 months ago - Cosmetic firms make zillions by selling stuff for extortionate sums which costs them buggerall to manufacture. A jar of lancome Renergie coosts AUD$120, and 50ml of Absolue costs AUD$200. Then there are perfumes which cost an arm and a leg. Don't forget, men buy a lot of perfumes for their lady friends. And we know nothing about perfumes except they cost mega.

Just imagine spraying the car with a perfume at the start line. That effect would be sensational.
