Vandas should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Practice

So what do you do between race weekends!

Currently we test a fair bit, usually at Calder Raceway on a Wednesday with a number of V8 teams.

We also run at Sprints, these are good days to give the car a solid 3 or 4 laps and then bring her back in for appraisal. Also gives me a bit of a chance to compare my data against my dad's.

I am also planning on competing in the Motorkhana series in order to receive more grounding with car control, and to keep my level of experience up.

These are what keeps me fresh for each race or Sprint championship weekend.

What do you guys do? Do you have other cars, regular practice sessions, regular tests. Do you go go-karting?

I would love to know

Cameron

Tell me about it THR, I cut school and work and my girlfriend just so I can down to the track earlier, and leave later.

That is why I am trying to get involved in various competition.

I have run in Sprints, and I am preparing for my first race soon, although it feels like an eternity away.

I even go go-karting whenever I can just to keep myself sane. I need to be dicing on a track with anything, it could be Volvo racing for all I care. hehehe

That is why I am trying to find out what methods people do to keep themselves fresh whilst inbetween race weekends.

I do 7 race meetings a year, plus 2 or 3 club days, mostly just for fun and to support the club. Lately, I've tried to average 2 days a year of just testing and find it quite helpful. I'm unable to do anymore, it's late May and I've already spent the racing budget for September.

I don't go kart anymore, everytime I just got sick and the last couple of times I launched my lunch.
