Miss Hardt should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Usernames

I am sorry if I am bothering anyone with this...but I have noticed that many people have changed/capitalised their usernames. How does one do that and which are the limits?

I'd be very thankful for the information on this.

Only admin can change your username, and 'usually' you need a good reason for it.

MrV was an easy one as his name did'nt really change and it was'nt confusing. Keystrokes changed his because few of us could type it.

Cougar has a real shot at the podium!Cougar has a real shot at the podium!Cougar has a real shot at the podium!Cougar has a real shot at the podium!
I know that 'The other name is cooler' is a very lame reason but can I ask what the policy is on old user names? I do actually remember seeing a thread on this when I JUST joined.

In my case I took Cougar21 as Cougar was already taken. Thing is Cougar joined on Jan 30th 2001 and posted 2 posts the last being on 31st Jan 2001.

I remember reasons given such as users dont post but just read. Which is fine. But if a user has not logged on in ages? Id really like to be Cougar! *cries like a baby*

Anyways not that serious. But is there anywhere where there is a policy regarding usernames?

Thanx!

Nicholas should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I asked if I could be changed to "Nicholas" after too many people would call me "nicholaswhite" failing to see there was actually a christian name in there somewhere. But that was about a year ago and by now there is probably a new member called "Nicholas" who posted 2 replies and died, or something.

Mine is not serious either....I just don't like to be treated as "miss" since my "miss" stands for a verb, not for a noun. That's why I wanted to be Hardtana instead of Miss Hardt (gah, Supersonic Squirrel is too long a name for the vbulletin). But, of course, if that's against the forum rules, I won't insist on it.

And I could get banned for expressing my true love to the only person I ever respected anyway
