Good to see Falken and BMW start to challenge. The Corvettes will be back though.

It really feels like the leaders are just waiting for whatever sprint to the finish happens in the last 20 minutes. I do miss the endurance sprints. |

I concur. There is a great fear in the air of a FCY in the last 40 minutes. I dont think a single enduro race in TUSC has NOT had a FCY in the last hour yet. I hope that streak ends today.

At this point all 8 full season GTLM cars still in the battle for the win. The Prototype battle I think is down to 6 cars who can realistically win now: the 4 Corvettes, the #1 HPD, and the #01 Ford.

Lot of pit stops under FCY with the cars packed up, positions reshuffled every time. Not the best stuff for sportscar racing |

Pretty humurous that the intention of the lap down wave by was to keep it closer and competitive till the end, yet because no ones ever out of it even if they're a lap down, the entire first 11 hours or 23 for Daytona can be taken much more easy or carefully, which makes it less intense, which defeats the whole purpose of the lap down wave by..... oh those unintended consequences....

I still hold out hope for every prototype still on lead lap minus the Mazda, of course. The 2 esm car can get ed browns time out of the way and still have a chance at the end. Still two bullets in the gun for p2s....

Looks like the tyre changing butterfingers has spread to the #31 AER. FCY. |

Ok this is dumb. I'm checking outta here for a while. These FCY's screw things up again. We still have only had one round of green flag stops so far. I thought having a field of just 40 cars would reduce this crap. Nope.

31 was still going out on the far side of the circuit. Did he stop somewhere that necessitated this yellow?

And the 31 misterious caution strikes again at sebring.still so far the fcy count feels better than last year so far.
Is there some rule I don't know or missed about no power tools on pit lane? They use pneumatic Impact guns for wheel changes, but yet do everything else by hand tools? A brake change with cordless impacts and ratchets would be so much faster. Brake change for the 10, already? |

The Mazda is now the leading P2. Props to them, they've kept it together.
