This is the new Toyota V-8 engine:


Now take some of these put them in Datsun 240z Chassis, homologate them as
Dayo GTs, and you have an instant GT1.

Damn, WBO2 sensors in each exhaust pipe in the headers, or maybe they are EGT probes?

What you see there is Toyota's NASCAR engine, based of the present one used in the Craftsman Truck Series. It will be in their Camry-bodied Nextel Cup chassis for next year.

It's the only place that uses this type of engine, as the ones used in Grand Am, CORR, and other types of motorsport use their standard DOHC designs, in 4, 6, and 8-cylinder varients. Sorry, Bob...

I did not tell them because it is obvious what it is and I presumed they already knew.
I feel the general intelligence around here is pretty high and they do not need to be led by the hand--sheeesh.
