Well, I sent in my question: Which drivers will take the fight to Michael Schumacher this year.

Cool, at least they are trying. However I'm not sure how much Jim can add to the debate and if he is chairing then lets hope some of the important points don't get lost! What about "Is there any chance of getting Ben Edwards to commentate?"

If ITV are putting together a half-decent preview show: is this the start of some decent coverage this year (which can be guaranteed), if not decent racing (which can't be guaranteed)?

Verdict
So, what did you think.
Good to get a decent interview with Max; good to hear all the differing points of view from the panel. They were quite placid though, not much disagreement and argy bardgy. I really wanted someone to start shouting 'Jerry' at some point!  Bad that they only took 3 questions; and bad that I'm going to expect that all of those VT-features will be repeated at least once during next weekend (knowing ITV); and there's nothing better to get you to sleep at 2am than watching something you've seen before!

It was very dull and typically ITV, basically telling anyone that's likely to care exactly what they already know
. I just hope pictures, at least, are better this year. |

Well us young 'uns up here will be staying up to watch the F1... You've met the nail on the head, Damon - why do ITV bring you the 'exclusive' snippets of gossip weeks after you've read them on 10-10ths? If I didn't know any better (and I don't), I'd think they were reading the boards and getting their inspiration for the programmes from us! |
