First of all, the first year in which there was a SC at Le Mans was 1981.

few days ago one of my friends told me Minichamps is going to release some 1/43 LM24 SC,including 2 Porsches used in 1974,that made me interested in classic SC,but now i just wondering are those real LM SC?if true,i want to learn how many times Porsche and other SC makers have run LM24

Those were probably just pace cars for the start. The 1981 race review clearly says that the safety car(s) were added to the race only from that year onwards.

Hello,

I think that those Porsches are rescue cars for the Nurburgring rather than Le Mans. The first
picture certainly looks like the Nurburgring. There is a reference on Wikipedia to the Porsche
rescue vehicles having an R on the side. The ONS in the description also refers to the
Nurburgring. Looks like Minichamps getting every last bit of mileage out of their Porsche 911
casting.

Cheers,
Mike

Get it,thanks Mike
Minichamps havent produce 911S 2.4L version before(Schuco,NOREV and UH have),but i'd rather believe there's going to be dozens of other versions with the same mold later

And back to the topic, now i'd like to find out not only Safety Cars but also Pace Cars and Medical Cars for LM24 each year
