Looks like Bell and Sweedler went to Scuderia Corsa for 2015 because Scuderia Corse wanted the auto invite.
I won't be surprised if WTR does go to Le Mans with a Morgan-Judd. Ricky Taylor raced for Larbre Competition at Le Mans this year, featuring Konica Minolta sponsoring. |

The Taylor gang has always been one of the biggest whiners in the DP gang. Don't really want em here, although the prospect of them, and Wayne himself after such long period, actually having to race against wide array of cars without relying on the organizers to bop everything all the time and close up competition with wave arounds and phantom cautions is sort of interesting. Just as it is with Shank.
Of course, Wayne as driver is no stranger to Sarthe |

50/50 chance but the desire is there according to Wayne.
http://sportscar365.com/lemans/leman...4-lmp2-effort/ No surprise to see they will source a European chassis. They will be receiving a few phone calls from the ELMS paddock I think. |

Don't see it happening. I bet some ELMS team will take the slot and let whichever brother isn't in the Corvette drive and it would be Wayne Taylor by Random ELMS Team Racing entered.

If they do not submit entry after all, or fold afterwards, it just adds to the no show automatic entry North American list of last few years
1x Pickett 2014 + 2012 1x ESM 2013 (1x Conquest 2013) 2x Dyson 2012 2x RLL 2012 + 1x 2011 2x Highcroft 2011 |

Also notice no auto-invites for winning WEC driver or team championships. Not that it matters, since we all know that Toyota, SMP, AF Corse and AMR will be at LM next year in some shape or form.

I don't think auto-invites are required, as i believe all full season wec entries are guaranteed a place as it's part of the championship.

But if you were the ACO/ WEC you'd hardly be wanting to offer them support to leave!

This Scuderia Corsa entry sounds legit.
Bell/Sweedler/TBC American silver driver. Maybe the WEC race at Silverstone to prepare. Sounds promising. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/s...ineup-at-lm24/ |

http://www.dailysportscar.com/2014/1...mans-grid.html
After the topsy turvy nature of last year’s Le Mans entry list the ACO opted to postpone the building of new garages which had been intended to facilitate an increase to a 60 car maximum grid in 2015. That may prove to have been a premature decision. Wait that was the reason they were not built? I thought it was something else like money or space or whatever. That is the most short sighted, ill adviced reasoning ever. Also, I thought the original plan was 57 for 2015, not 60. |

They really should build 4 new garages for this years race. We will have 4 more factory cars in LMP1, that alone should be reason enough to do it, the rest of the feild is in no way shrinking, LMP2 is growing fast. I highly doubt we'll see a repeat of last years entryswapping, even ACO should be able to see that.

It's definitely going to be cramped down the end of the pits if they try and build four new garages. I'm not sure there will be room to get to Parc Ferme?

Then build those garages at the start of the pitlane complex, not only the end. Pit lane entry road can always be reconfigured and that "Le Mans" sign in the middle of extra tarmac relocated, there are plenty of parking lots on the circuit now

That still leaves the possibility for a WTR ELMS entry, if only in name. There's still time to make a deal with one of the existing euro teams (Greaves for instance), the entry deadline is about a month away.
The other option would be for Taylor to go P2 but I don't see that happening (although the same thing was said about Shank). |

I wonder what the good relationship with Ligier entails?

Interesting that the new Chaparral Vision GT was conceived as a “Garage 56” Le Mans Experimental Prototype.http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/news/00_4448338.html
But would a laser powered car be allowed to race at Le Mans? |

E-I/S365 have thrown together a speculative list to pick from.
http://sportscar365.com/lemans/leman...ests-for-lm24/ I hope Risi have put in an entry as that would add a bit of extra spice to GT-Pro. I'd be amazed if the ACO didn't accept them providing they put together a full pro crew. How some of those ELMS P2 teams expect to get a second entry I have no idea. |
