Apparently AMR are painting the roof white on their cars in an attempt to reflect some heat! If you look closely at the BMS car its white with yellow stripes!

Haven't I read somewhere that it's part of the regs that the interiors have a max temp now?

Though with the new aero rules, I suspect they're not as "clean" as the Bentleys were. I just have never gotten used to the whole raised nose look either, whether in open wheel or now sportscars.

The G.P.C. Ferrari seems to be retaining a lot of its Spanish GT colors, I wonder how much that will change.

Are they also going to stick with Dunlops for the race?

Yes, the PSI Vette looks very good. From the livery one would think that they have the new ac system in it. P&M drivers complained it worked to well at first, made them cold. Sorry to see they are running on Pirelli's though.

Le Mans will be a great test of Aston vs. Vette on both Michelins and Pirellis.

IMO you had better add Oreca to that mix, as they definitely have the pace. The only question is their stamina!

What a nice batch of pics. Always exciting to see the new livery changes for the big race.

PSI's Corvette looks fabulous. Neat colour choice, reminds me a little bit of the Scorp Viper from oh so many years ago in palate, and is very different from what's been seen on Vettes before. Sad about the Pirellis, but they've clearly been having issues balancing the books (see the FIA-GT withdrawal) so it's understandable. Frankly, with his experience in the car, I think Peter is a better lead driver choice than Sharpe. BMS's Pirelli-shod car looks great too: the yellow and white roof mimics the pattern seen on the Porsche in FIA-GT.

With reference to GPC's car, I'm sure it won't run in the Spanish GT livery. There are 2 GPC photos on EI: 1 is in full Spanish livery, the other almost blank. It's hard to tell whether they are the same car because the green stripe doesn't look quite the same tone, but that could just be different exposure. Certainly we already know what the car will look like from the presentation in H-K, so it's either the Spanish car being deliveried or there's an extra chassis kicking about. Not sure about tyres because there are no decals on the blank car, the Dunlops clearly being for Spanish GT.

I really like the Autorlando livery too.

I think Oreca will win GT1. My point was we will see aston and Vette battling on both Pirellis and Michelins. We can get a good picture of how Pirelli mathes up to Michelin this year in GT1.

To bad they run on Pirelli's, might spoil their fun.

About the Oreca Saleens winning GT1, let's wait and see. Never seen a saleen winning a 24 hour race before. Might be good on the short runs, but the long... no idea.

This is a piece of news we've been hoping for.......

........the ACO have announced today that the 'Three Light System' which signifies the top three cars in each category in the ALMS will be adopted for this year's Le Mans. They are listening to us, I'm sure of it!

Indeed we have never seen what a well run factory backed Saleen can do at Le Mans, we could have back in 2001 but well the rain came and ruined any real chance of that as I beleive the factory Saleen was one of the victims of the torrential rain that came on I beleive lap 3. Personally I think the car will be reliable enough. Has anyone noticed that the small extra winglet that the cars normally have on the rear of the car like the MC12's have appear to be missing? Also the rear wing looks set up for low downforce, not quite minimum but it isnt carrying much rear wing. Should be good to see the car down those straights, one thing the Saleen doesent lack is areodynamics.

A Saleen has won sebring before. Which is arguably just as tough on a car.

The ACO's photos show RML has the 2006-spec nose on the car again.

I wonder if they're planning to run both noses to see which one works better?
