SELOC BMWs at Brands this weekend
On the same bill as the notorious Formula Woman season finale, the SELOC BMW "loonies" are out at Brands Hatch on Sunday 25th July... So if anyone is looking to watch some entertaining racing, come and watch us!

I can honestly say I find it hard to recall a more entertaining race series. |

They're definitely shot to pieces (glad you've accepted the "loonies" tag now ). Who on earth let them venture out from the confines of Lydden into the wider world? Don't think I'll make brands this weekend but I'm sure it'll be an entertaining race.

Just want to say thankyou for all the support we have been getting for our series. The response from the spectators and marshals at Lydden was superb after our race 2 weeks ago and the comments on this board have been very encouraging for the future of our series.
Glad us Loonies can entertain you all. Although not sure Guy and I were as entertained going round Paddock side by side! Thanks Last edited by craig j; 20 Jul 2004 at 12:00. |

The SELOC BMWs are a great series, I (and a few other Triumphs)were amalgamated into a race with them at Lydden earlier in the year and great fun was had by all. Lots of side by side racing though I made sure I was on the inside as the boot of a BMW looks huge from a low sports car seat as it tail slides towards you!

..and here's Liam demonstrating that little feature of these cars: http://www.semsec.org.uk/images/gall...YD0704_022.jpg |

I'll see you all there. After watching the fun you had at Silverstone and Croix it'll be entertaining to watch you on "home" turf.

Unfortunately T-boned another competitor who was sideways at Paddock!
Great SELOC race though, excellent battles everywhere. Sadly the field was broken up at the first corner, otherwise it would have been very close at the front. Lydden to look forward to. Have fun |

I think John was talking about the FW race. He definitely wasn't driving. There was a FW car photo in the sequence above but it seems to have gone now.

I thought the driving standards were too high to have had one of the "seniors" present.
Well done guys. Can someone remind the pilot of the front row qualifier that "erupting red mist" does not a quick driver make. I haven't seen such a good demonstration of undisguised fury for quite a while. Still going broadsides all the way round Druids was "entertaining", shame Mr W**ks didn't manage it again at Graham Hill. |
