Asa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F BMW World Final

Just read it in Speedtv.com's Auto Racing news.

Any idea where this is going to be held? It said December so I guess it won't be in Europe and not at Macau either.

Where would it be suitable to hold such an event in December? I am suspecting Bahrain. They may want to run it with the F3 SuperPrix?

Just found the article: http://www.speedtv.com/articles/auto/roadracing/14126/

It's planned for 2005 to make things clear. It seems like a great idea, providing a representative number of teams/drivers from each championship can afford to travel to wherever it will be.

Sounds like a great idea. When Formula BMW UK was launched at the start of this year, Mario Thiessen said it was something they definitely wanted to do in the future, although the impression I got was that it wouldn't be quite that soon.

With Formula Ford going down in popularity, and the Festival doing the same, BMW have got a great chance to come in with the junior world final to watch. Renault nearly got there last year with their Masters idea, but it fell through, which was a shame.
