Surely there will be a couple of the latest road cars there?

I'm sure Tony Vandervall must have at least thought about it sometime

Is there any chance we'll MB return to sportscar racing? This seems like a perfect fit but have heard nada about a possibility so far.

multimatic is much more involved, I know they are working with mclaren for the extreme E car (provided is still in their plan since they will join formula e next year) and lots of street cars like ferrari cars use licensed multimatic manufactured parts. They make and supply also dampers for lots of racing cars too etc.... it's funny how that article calls amr valkirye as the amg one rival, while actually are both made by multimatic. |

nope, valkyrie and valhalla are both hybrid cars. It's valkyrie amr-pro that hasn't the rimac kers/electric motors. AMG-one has a 2016 f1 derivated V6 turbo + ERS H/K + front electric motors. Last edited by canaglia; 31 May 2022 at 08:11. |

4 litre V8 turbo confirmed by BMW, based on the P66 DTM engine.

Pretty impressive how they've managed to attach a P2 Dallara to the massive BMW grill.

Looks like white is the primary color from the rear fenders. Typical red and blue BMW stripes.

from the edited photo (which I guess is the genuine photo just way brighter) front section reminds me 2018 ts050 with that big nose between high diveplanes. It looks like front bodywork has been made to create a grill to look like bmw street car aesthetics, at least left side, because on right it looks different. Wheel arches look a little higher than the ones of porsche lmdh |

don't know, cadillac dpi nose looks more squared and diveplanes way lower, that bmw pic reminds me more 2018 toyota with that big and more rounded nose between higher diveplanes. Wonder how similiar/different bmw and new cadillac lmdh will look. To be honest front of bmw lmdh reminds me a little also a fictional lmp1 of project cars game... P30 or something like that.
Anyway I like how lmdh specs can give a distinctive look to each car, much more than dpi for sure. |

The Cadillac looks nicely shaped, as does the BMW. Although the Toyota of 2018-19 was one of the best looking ever. And it worked too. I just hope they don't all look too similar to each other. BMW always have a classic sportscar look to their design.
I do think LMDH has worked in getting plenty of makes involved, whereas the IMSA has been stuck in a bit of a rut recently |

The front silhouette is not too far off giving me Maserati MC12 vibes.
Whether BMW were going for that specific resemblance or not is another matter. |
