Cosworth being present with Rebllion might just be for the electronic side of things though.

Best known example is that they bought Pi Electronics a few years back and rebranded the company Cosworth Electronics. But I'm betting that Cosworth has made "software" (ie, software programs and electronic bits for their engines, in whole or in part) for quite a while before hand, probably since EFI and ECU computers became a major part in motorsports (around the same time as in road cars, in the 1980s) |

It´s very rare that I post anything on this forum, but...
Mat Fernandez twitter: Rebellion is should be presenting its 2015 program on Wednesday - recurrent rumors of a new engine. |

This presentation is indeed due to take place this Wednesday at the Speedy Garage next to Lausanne, Switzerland.

My guesses
Engine change to AER (already in the market and seems OK) One car for full season and second for Le Mans (+ Spa and possibly Silverstone like in 2013) Some sponsor announcements Maybe one driver change |

I dont think theyll drop to one car unless they suddenly lack funds or the engine replacement is very expensive. Thought they had (a) pay driver(s)?

agree, in 2013 rebellion entered just one car full season in WEC because in the initial plan one chassis was going to run full season in ALMS. There in so place for lmp1 outside WEC, so...

Will be interesting to see if GT Acadmeny judge Heidfeld is still there. Will be a shame to lose the Toyotas but I think it would be for the best.

There was absolutely nothing of importance announced yesterday at Speedy garage. Just some publicity event from the watch department me thinks. However among the cars displayed there were plenty of ex Lolas which was nice

Only official confirmation from Rebellion Racing was indeed the full-season FIA-WEC campaign with two cars. No information on the engine that will be used or the actual 2015 driver line-up. The event was however a nice opportunity to chat with various drivers, including Lapierre who was there for the occasion as he prefaced the aforementioned book. |

Not a guess Chiana - there were a variety of options under consideration - still more to come on this one.

"Les Suisses au Mans" suggest that the two Rebellion R-One could be powered next year by a "NA engine originating from Germany".
That may possibly suggest the ex-DTM V8 engine that Audi planed to offer to customer LMP1 teams and that was originally contemplated by Lotus/CLM. |

If this is not the engine that "Les Suisses au Mans" are referring to, then which customer engine could this be ? |
