NSW State Championships - Oran Park

Anyone wanting to see some entertaining racing where cars actually overtake each other and there are more than 2 makes of car in the race, come on down to Oran Park this weekend for the NSW State Championships.
10 catagories are competing with around 250 cars entered. The great thing about OP is that you can drive around and park your car at the dogleg and have a great view of the action.
Dont miss the Improved Production races as they always put on a great show with a great mix of vehicles.

mtpanorama,

I always try to catch the NSWRRC meets, especially when the Improved Production is involved!

Do you have access to an entry list by any chance? I want to know how many rotaries are entered

Not too bad a morning today, sunny and up until lunch the track was good, however two incidents, FFord into the wall taking time to clean up then an HQ depositing every sceric of oil it had on the race line over the whole track, and the ensuing clean up, menat that the last few sessions were reduced to 10 minutes. but other than cleaning the car after a slight off, we are ready for the weekend!!

Weather reports are for sunny days, hope it holds true, but if your coming make sure ytou bring the cold weather gear for when the sun sinks a little!!!

I have big raps on local newcastle kids Ryan Brown and matt skinner. How are they going this year?

Have either of them improved their machinery that was a bit average in the past?

There you go Ross,
http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...6/2006.ORAN.Q7

Ryan on the front row. Apparently that car has had a shed load of money spent on it over the off season to make it very fast, also helps that he can steer a bit too.

Not showing your Novacastrain bias there are we Ross. If that is the case I will go for car #66 in the Combined Touring. Go get the bro.

Good on ya Adam, great to see you get a result especially since it was Brendan's home track.

Well done Southern Cross Motorsport.

I managed to sneak out to the track for a couple of hours on saturday making it now 2 state meetings ever for me, all in the last 2 months, and I have to say I enjoyed it very much.

I took a million photos but I've tried to post a broad cross-section of the cars that were on track so that anyone that is like me, who loves motorsport but had not necessarily made the effort to support the 'others' - can get an idea of whats going on, and what you're missing!

***just a quick test below to see if I've figured out how to post pictures properly!***

someone we know??

this one's for Rotorfan...
