judging from the times in the initial part of the race, the brakes seemed to be OK, but let's wait what else they will come up with.

Not so bad, I think!

Porsche didn't want to appear as ridiculous as Risi Competizione at PLM(ran out of fuel in last lap)

This marks another great difference between Porsche and Ferrari: Porsche is intelligent, Ferrari and Risi ...

Very interesting article about Allan comments after the race..

I would think that if someone is trying to pass you, you can defend as much as you can..

MihokS5 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
It's pretty obvious that Peugeot did what ever it took to keep the R15 from winning. All of the people who talk **** on the R15 fail to realize that it has pushed the 908s hard in almost every race, and made the French go to tactics like this to ensure the win. Is the 908 really "that" dominant? I don't think so.

Is the 908 the fastest LMP1- yes
Has it had an impressive track record-yes
Is it gods gift to sportscar racing- NO

Audi led a lot during this race, Petit, and even took pole at Silverstone. Sure the final results are what matter, but I don't think the 908 is that much better of a car and at least it made for a good ILMC season between both camps

Flamesuit on...

Why do you talk about "the French" and for instance in your final para not about "The Germans" in stead of Audi? Does it really maater from which country a car originates?

Your right. That was unintentional and the originating country does not matter. Just typing on the fly

I´m kind of disappointed of McNish, it was obvious that Bourdais wasn't blocking.

Kristensen only got past him due to traffic and once he cleared him, Bourdais stayed right in his gearbox while Sarrazin extended his lead. How can you block a car that isn't really faster than you?

I don't thin McNish was faking in his interview... He was faster as 908s, in his stints.

Let's see what the laptimes tell... He could have slowed down and blocked him, and then driven at normal speed once Tom was past.

It is kinda weird the so-claimed problem was suddenly solved when Kristensen passed him. Miraculous!

Peugeot did what they had to do to win the race, and Audi would have done the same thing had the roles been reversed. Bourdais is under no obligation to move over...

both 908s clocked the fastest laptimes of the race. All the fast times, also for the Audis were set in the beginning of the race, so in this case by Kristensen. So Allan was slower than Kristensen.

hm, I prefer to see shots where the wheels of cars are actually moving...
this photographer could have done marvels with the red sun and lower shutter times....now the track looks like a parking place, frozen images.

Anyone have the full results? Also, I find it hilarious and sad how none of the Audi and Peugeot fans have shown sportsmanship once again.

A shame to see that Audi and particular McNish seem to be sour losers and an even bigger shame to see the media picking up on it.
