Daytona International Speedway progress
    Work is progressing on schedule in spite of the hurricanes. The new tunnel is in process of being enclosed. Click on various entries and see photos of the progress. Starting with week 6 there is a slide show. this is truly an enormous civil engineering project.

Looking at the pics, and they have dug up a section of the track, i wonder how that new bit of pavement will afect speeds next year
