2004 BSB Calender (provisional)

Quote:

Source:Crash.net

The provisional calendar for the 2004 British Superbike championship has been released.

The season will start at Silverstone on March 28 and finish at Donington on September 19. Of note is that the calendar contains an extra 'to be announced' round pencilled in for mid-August, taking the provisional total to thirteen events.

The calendar will be confirmed in January.

2004 provisional BSB calendar:

28th March Silverstone
12th April Brands Hatch (Indy)
25th April Snetterton
3rd May Oulton Park
23rd May Mondello Park
6th June Thruxton
20th June Brands Hatch (GP)
4th July Knockhill
18th July Rockingham
15th August TBA
30th August Cadwell Park
12th September Oulton Park
19th September Donington Park
Looks like a great calender - Ill defintly be at Silverstone and Thruxton - and perhaps Brands, lets hope the 2004 BSB Championship is as good as the 2003 championship was.

ATF should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good, good! 2004 should be a classic season. I've read that Reynolds is the pre-season favourite (when all of the other riders haven't even been announced)! Have Honda announced their plans yet?

Kagayama is also confirmed. The title will be between Emmett, Kagayama and Reynolds!

Honda is testing the new CBR in Spain (Almeria) for the 2004 BSB. Their riders are, Ryuichi Kiyonari and Michael Rutter, directed by Tadayuki Okada.

Apparantly, Kiyonari has been the faster of the two so far and HRC has decided to extend their testing schedule because of that.

Calendar looks good. I'll be at home to go to Cadwell and back at uni in time for the finale at Donnington!
