Yes, in France not so far from Le Mans ( in Normandy ) there is an expression which translation is we can translate " Perhaps Yes, Perhaps no".
But , definitely , yesterday I was confirmed by the ticket office that the general access ticket will be available for all the test week-end. And there will be a special ticket for 10€ available only for the test week-end for the people who don't want to go to the race. Actually, you can't buy the general acces ticket, you only can book it. We'll be able to buy the race ticket on saturday, april 23th. |

Let's see if I can get this into the correct thread this time. The Official Test Day participants list is now up on PlanetLemans.com.

Michael Waltrip at Le Mans? Boogity, boogity, boogity! Ok, enough of that.
The MIK Corse name returns. That is the former Racing Box team, correct? Highcroft is not on the list. I'm not sure what to make of that. Perhaps they will be at Long Beach so they cannot make the test? Or is that their hope at least? Perhaps that is not the idea and they don't have the budget to make the trip. |

I don't think anyone has pulled out (yet at least) except perhaps for the Rangoni car being pulled off the reserve list.
The ACO is allowing some non-entered teams (like FLM teams) to participate in the test. I guess that is also how Level 5 has two cars entered for the test even though they only have one entry. |

The ARX-01 isn't new. The aero package is new, but I don't think that is what they mean by new. Obviously, this isn't the first rodeo for Brabs and Marino. I have no idea who Highcroft is looking at for the 3rd seat though. Any word on that?

Hybrid4 908 replaces one of the 3 factory cars entered for the race. I thought it was a clever way of running 4 908s on the test day...

Their other car is the first GT reserve, so better go safe and qualify all the drivers for it in the event of a GT withdrawal. Even though withdrawals don't actually look rather likely this year, which is rather surprising... last year we had at least 2 withdrawals by this moment in time.

IIRC, last year we were worrying about running out of reserves!

I just noticed Klaus Graf will be at the Test as a 3rd driver for Jota. Klaus is a quick driver in LMP, it will be interesting to see how he does with the Vantage.

For those driving to LM for the test, be aware of the following driving rule changes!
CHANGES TO THE FRENCH HIGHWAY CODE - give way to pedestrians and cyclists - it is now the law (JANUARY 2011) Pedestrians and cyclists in France now have the right of way over cars when crossing the road following immediate changes to the highway code. When a pedestrian gives you a clear intention that they wish to cross the road, you must give way. Bear in mind that the new laws are not restricted to pedestrian crossings. A clear intention is defined as the pedestrian taking a step forward at the kerbside or giving a hand gesture to imply that they wish to cross. For safety reasons, the new rule does not apply less than 50 metres away from a pedestrian crossing. A fine of up to €135 or four points on your license is imposable for failure to respect this law. Cyclists may also skip red lights when turning right, but only at crossroads where there is a sign to that effect. |

According to John Dagys some of Risi's crew are helping out Luxury Racing at the test day and if all goes well the entire team could help out the pro car at the race.
Good to see Corvette Racing sharing data with Larbre and running the car at the test day, its certainly a win win for everyone, would be thrilled to see Larbre win GT AM. |
