The carbon fibre looks like silver paint with black stripes. Theres no shading in the lines.

I think I'll go with your idea too, and create a carbon fibre car.

For something different, and my first pixelcar attempt, here's my pixelcar tribute to the late, great King of The Mountain, Peter Brock. I've done 2 of the 4 variations on Brocky's Nations Cup Monaros (the 24 hour winning car, and the Yellow car he drove at the AGP in 2003). Both are based on the Monaro on Page 1 of this thread. Here they are:
I may consider doing the 2 other 427 monaros he drove (Poolrite 2004 car and the 'Holden Monaro' (Not Just Cars Insurance) livery carried in the regular 2004 Nations Cup season), along with the 3 versions (Red Holden monaro 2002, Red Motorola Monaro 2004 and Black Motorola Monaro 2005) that Peter alson drove in Targa Tasmania. Yeah, I drew the sponsors on myself, 1 at a time, in paint. (did the red car first, then changed red to yellow for the other car).
As for saving it as a JPG, I actually saved them as bitmaps (thankyou paint again), but when i stuck them in photobucket, they were automatically turned to JPG's.) |

Oh, and remember, always credit your work, for example. Say you used one of matts basses, you would credit Matt for the base. Oh, and I am currently working on a Nissan Skyline 'Supercar'.

Part 1 - Right okay, dont worry chatters, your first pixalcar is WAY better than my first so heres some tips. Im sure V8 and Matt will help you out aswell. Okay, first lesson: Shading in paint, you can make your colours darker and lighter. If you want to reshade a car, no problem. whatch this!
Okay, lets start with this, a yello silvia, lets reshade it blue. |
