Lowndesfan6 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Well, it was expected considering all the free exposure he gets through Sunrise.

The reason he won was because of the significant help he got from our local Shepparton girl Amanda Garner, so lets get it right!

No Grant has a girlfriend, Belinda. Free exposure or not he still did bloody well and deserved to win, IMO though Toby should of been there last night instead of Kosta.

Another channel seven personality gets the Gong.

4 out of 4 for this series.

This was no surprise.

Anything that gets motorsport on television on a network that does not have any motorsport interest has to be a good thing!

Imagine if #7 gets the teev rights... Mr Denyer would be a walk up start to the commentary team!

So would Mr Mark Beretta (Berets as known on Sunrise), a former circuit commentator at the Bathurst 1000.

Guess who could replace Bill Woods as the host? Bruce MCavaney, ala early 1990's C7 Bathurst coverage!!

Mike Raymond could also make a welcome return, with Mark Oastler returning to his old station and Allan Moffat in for special comments.

Gricey and Andy Raymond would cover pitlane and would be back in the old days.

Of course we'd leave Doug Mulray behind, but the swedish or german (euro) commentator from the early bathurst might be welcome!!

Ahh those were the days!!

You mean Richard Hay, yes he was very good. His father Neville came out for three Bathursts as well, 1986-88.

One would have thought if it was all rigged then Jennifer Hawkins was a shoe-in.......

I have commented quite often about this fact but am the first to say that Grant deserved the win over Kosta. He had the support of our whole household.
Good onya, well done First of many trophies this year

I can't believe you guys would suggest that a TV station would "adjust" the results of a TV reality show to boost exposure/ratings. What a terrible thing to say.

Next you'll be suggesting that sometimes a polictician will say things that aren't true or fail to keep a promise.

or that Tim Schenken really needs to put out a safety car with 10 laps to go because, despite what it looks like, it really is a serious incident, then to have the Ch. 10 croonies say, "oh, a sprint to the end" - give me a break!!!

One would think he would be driving in the main game once the end of year driver sacking in the #18 car comes about.

I still think the guy can drive... he doesnt drive a Supercar particularly conventionally (listen to the incar, he is a bit wayward with the heel n toe thing..) but with the right coaching, the speed certainly seems to be there... waiting to be exploited..

Yeah and we can bring back Daid Fordham who once said at Bathurst 1996 that Car 1 has just arrived for its stop, and Greg Lowndes is just about to jump aboard! (words to that effect!)

Imagine if the TV commentators got on their show bleating about the spelling, grammar and punctuation errors that proliferate in this forum. They'd never have time to talk about anything else.

kmsport has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
What about Rex Hunt?
Is he still a Seven personality?
Imagine when the Fat Lady would sing at Bathurst.
And, to be prudent I'll leave out any comments about current Rex news!!
