Good point.
Saying that, we may have an uneven number on the grid. Ferrari also want 3 cars... Selby |

Manor are keeping themselves quiet because thats how they are. They are a team that gets on with it. I'm talking about the Manor side not Wirth.
Rumour has it they have a very impressive set up there and a lot of drivers are interested in them, even some current F1 guys like Glock. Also I hear their car is looking pretty special. I think Manor are likely to be the suprise of the year and if this rumour that they have a top car is true then they could take on some of the established teams, maybe even the top 3. |

I think it's 24 or 26 (no idea which would go). 28 is possible. Other numbers could happen depending on the N.Technology/Stefan Grand Prix lawsuit - verdict due on the 10th next month. I read that as of a last month ago Mr Stefanovic was still full on preparing and might even fly the stuff out to Bahrain a la Phoenix Finance ...
Stefan Grand Prix are employing a certain Mike Coughlan which could have been a factor. Don't get me wrong, an F1 team based outside Western Europe might be a breath of fresh air but I'm not sure if the team would be competitive, or if we will even see a car from them. |

Both Manor and Campos Meta are related to external engineering companies. How will these relations evolve in subsequent years and thus development? Will they acquire the necessary expertise to fully develop in-house or buy a stake in the earlier mentioned engineering companies?

There is a report out there by a German paper that USF1 want to get out of their Cosworth contract and that the 60 odd employers are on a month to month basis. Doesn't make sense. Speedtv is coming out with a half hour docu on the progress of the team with cameras in the shop. Should be interesting.

Speedtv will show it this weekend probably a special with steve matchet during the grand prix broadcast. They have several shows during the weekend dealing with F1 so you have to watch all of them

Venezuelan media puts Pastor Maldonado as if he signed for the other Campos seat... Allegedling that De la Rosa would prefer to stick to McLaren testing role in 2010. Are they credible?

Pastor's been linked there but I doubt DLR really wants to stick to testing when there are race seat offers on the table - he's said many times before he wants to get back into racing. I'd say it would be more likely in that case that he's signed for US F1 instead
