Apologies for being a little OT in another direction, but why is this so important for people to know?
Has anyone thought of writing to Top Gear and simply asking them? |

i have trawled the net over the past few months and perry mccarthy has said he was the stig(black) and from what i'v seen its failry safe to assume its currently ben collins(white).
ben was also one of the drivers for the 5 a side toyota aygo football match they had(if it matters at all) |

Ben Collins did it when Perry was unavilable when he was the stig, so it is possible.
I have heard bandied about that it is a nobody, a couple of other names have been mentioned to me which i cannot remember and most recently Terry Grant. |

I heard it was Darren Turner, hence the test of the Aston Martin DBR9 and various Aston DBR9 features on Top Gear.

It used to DEFINITELY be Perry McCarthy & now it's DEFINITELY Ben Collins. Stop speculating, this is the absolute truth. |
