Powerful win from RHR having had such an anonymous month. Carpenter was a genuine contender, so, sad for him. Busch too had an impressive race. Bell was competitive too. I enjoyed it towards the end there.

Also feel sorry for Montoya if not for his pitlane speeding penalty he would have been further up at the final restart and who knows what he could have pulled out.

All in all, after a rather dull Monaco GP this is a great end to my motorsport day!

This Indy 500 shows that, from a racing point of view, Indycar has a great package with enormous potential. With some smart PR and marketing they have an opportunity to make some progress.
An American hero, a fantastic final nine laps, and nearly the first 75% of the race incident free. 360 miles before the first full course yellow and a safety car.

Good management of the race and mostly right decisions made.

It is a great package and the racing is really good but it's shame they can't get the rest of the series to gel.

As usual, a thrilling Indy 500 race. The last stretch was so intense! But I think that cars need quite a bit less downforce and more horsepower at superspeedways.

Great win by Hunter-Reay. I hope that he gets recognized as a great driver once for all.

Hélio was so close to his fourth win, I'm a bit sad Penske missed it with the pitlane penalties for Montoya and Power.
