Las Vegas Grand Prix 1981-82

I recently visited Las Vegas and whilst there decided to try and find the site of the Las Vegas Grands Prix held in 1981-82.
As the circuit was laid out in the car park of Caesars Palace I decided to investigate there first, but couldn't find a car park big enough to set out a GP circuit! It's highly likely that the car park has since been built on - does anyone know if this is the case?
I asked around but nobody seemed to know what I was talking about, apart from a taxi driver who thought it might have been the site of what is now the Rio Hotel. However this seems quite a way from Caesars Palace, over Interstate 15. I'd be interested to know if anybody has any details on where this somewhat anomalous circuit actually was located?

In my program, (I was there in 82) it is shown as being laid out in the car park to the rear of Caesars Place hotel which was on Flamingo Road.

The track was bordered by Interstate 15, Industrial road and Las Vegas Blvd Sq.

I went to Veags in August 82 and i remember at this time that "the strip" was not full of Resort. the only big one was the Caesar. So i think, that the GP track is now "under" a big Resort !

With that in mind then, it looks like the circuit is now under the Forum shopping mall. Oh well, I think my girlfriend did a few laps of that one!
Thanks for the info guys.
