Rule Changes to mod prod?

ive been hearing mumours that the mod prod class will have to be road legal soon, can anyone shed light on this? im seriously hoping its a load of BS.

those in the know, please help!!!

I think the confusion has been brought about by the term Road Modified which some people are applying to the Road Going classes. As far as I know there are no plans to radically alter Mod Prod into some super-annuated road-going class.
