Yellow escort is possibly Mike Marlow, or Dick Whittington. White Rover ?

You are very good Andy, a clue the Rover changed hands and I think its the new driver in the car.

Personally i thought the Mike marlowe/ Dick Whittington escort was a flat front one which was the one that Trevor shaw ended up with. The one in your picture Al appears to be a droop snoot one? Cool picture by the way have you got any more to put on here mate. Is the Rover Dave Tetley?

Hi Dave, no I think it is the Dick Whittington car, maybe wrong and yes it was David Tetley's car but I believe that is Gerry Cain driving it for the first time before pulling the thing apart and totally rebuilding it as he was very disappointed with the handling, ex-bike racer Dave was (is) a good driver who made the car look better than it was!

Here's Andrew McKenzie's 4.0 Monza at Mallory along with Gerry Cain, Me & Peter Barnes.
I guess the Monza's I6 suffered from torsional stiffness?

Will put some more pics up when I've scanned them.

Thats a great shot Simon, what a collection of heavy metal in that photo including the ex-Brockie Commodore of Pete Barnes. All on list 1a tyres as well, way to go more power than grip = exciting racing! It was Pete Barnes incidently chasing me in his previous car the 3 litre Capri in my shot.

Especially on Falken List 1a tyres! Actually they are a darn sight better than the allegedly Dunlop Formula 'Race' tyres I run it on today, they are just pants and expensive and wet weather characteristics = Terrifying! I still have a full set of Falkens off of Pete Barnes's Commadore, gone a bit hard now I guess. :-)

He sold it to a guy who took it out with the ModProd boys and set about desimmating the field (literally) at Pembrey during his first race after brake problems in qually and starting from the back so he was barred from the club, I understand he went on to CSCC and was found to be drinking at a meeting so was told not to come back there as well and thats the last I heard.

Yes I do, thats Phil Rowley's old car. We had many a ding dong battle, great bloke Phil he actually came up to me once and gave me some sponsorship after I lost an engine in appreciation for all I had done for the club and the championship.

Yes he had it before the Starion, he had a full throttle body engine managment system fitted by Tom Laffey, still had a problem catching the old Chevy though. Don't know where it ended up though. CIS is Phil's company.
