Why not car #99?? They are suppose to be running the ex-thexton 99 BA in the development series for Jose.

It used to be the ex-Thexton, technically unraced BA... you may even find the pics taken of this car as the #25 Owen car at the launch also
Presumably the boys at Britek are running a fine toothed comb over their ex-FPR gear to get the unreliability disease exorcised from them... |

It seems that Britek are undertaking their own engine development program, for use in the 3 team cars. A huge jump from the original indications that this team was to be a parts dump for all the bits FPR didnt want....
Where it may become a trifle funny is if (when?) the Britek cars outperform the team owner.... Meantime, it seems I made a factual error in the post above about the chassis used in the photos... the much photographed #25 car as seen in AA is definitely an ex-FPR unit, while the ex-Thexton car has been sighted in both car numbers.... |

I believe the car at the launch was the ex. Thexton car disguised as the Owen 2005 car. The Britek engines are being built by the same guy that got the FPR engines fairly reliable for the last few races of 2004 while Rob Benson concentrated on the deinative 2005 engines.
