I'm new so be nice...

Hi everyone,

I'm new on here but I've met quite a few of you already at cadwell a few times.

My name is Nathanael but most people call me Nathan.

I started marshaling only about 2 months ago and so far I've only marshaled at Cadwell Park which is my local and favourite circuit.

I'm currently known as 'that trainee who rescued the upturned formula ford'!

I would have been at cadwell last weekend if I wasn't racing myself at the prescott hill climb course but I'm sure I'll see a few of you on the superkart GP weekend.

Thank you to everyone I have met who've welcomed me so warmly to the world of marshaling - I'm here to stay!

Nathan

Welcome on the forum. I'm fairly new myself (2nd season). Don't be afraid to ask if you need to know anything, there are lots of very knowledgable people on here who will help you out.

Well so far, I've dealt with an upturned formula ford, a very bent and slightly flame grilled ford sierra, a fairly bent ford KA (sensing a pattern here...bloody ford drivers lol!) and an 80mph sideways MR2 coming to a standstill in amongst the tyres about 2 feet from where I was standing!

It's all good fun though isn't it....

Oh yeah, and if you ever fancy the trip across the M62 you'll be most welcome at Oulton, or if you travel a little further, Anglesey too. Maybe not at hilly at Cadwell, but still very pretty and welcoming non the less

Hi Nathan, welcome to 10/10ths and I hope you are not going to bring the site down as you seem to be somewhat of a human pork pie at cadwell nice to see there are a more of us getting the bug and sticking it out

Will be there at superkart with the family and very entusiastic cadet in toe again

Enjoy your ventures and enjoy the forum and i'm sure we will get to play on post together eventually - although i may stand a few paces away from you

Don't think you need them - but at least you gave me a trip out in the Fire Car for the FF.

Welcome Nathan, sounds like your my opposite at Cadwell. I always seem to end up on the quiet post.

Remember Mallory isn't too far from us in Lincoln and the breakfast there is the best around

If you put 2 strong magnetic forces together though they tend to repel each other or cancle each other out maybe it needs two magnet marshals on the harder corners to compensate and have the races run smoothly
