Audi Sport UK is not a team though , is it ?
Was it not somebody else running under the Audi Sport UK banner ? ..... much like Champion Racing running under Audi Sport North America . |

I would say Bentley is right, Oreca's takeover should have put that one to sleep.

Wouldnt be too sure on the LNT Zytek either, unless I've missed something the entry at Silverstone was a one off. I'd love to be wrong but Im fairly sure it was to showcase the boys talents!

They have already said that they were not interested in running Panoz's again unless there is some significant developement done .
A logical next step would be LMP2 , they have proven they are capable of running the car ..... would be nice though . |

I can see LNT with a Zytek, they have experience, drive and money, plus a bucketload (and more) of talent to fill the seats.

ASM continues on LMP2
"My" Team, the Portuguese Quifel ASM will continue on LMP2 class acordindg to the Team Director Antonio Simões.
here is an article on portuguese news website sportmotores.com Despite António Simões said publicly that the ASM Team next season could make the leap to the category LMP1, the Portuguese team will remain in the class LMP2. Miguel Pais do Amaral chose to remain faithful to his Lola B05/40 and not left to seduce the super-competitive, and also super-expensive, Porsche RS Spyder. The connection between the national structure and the small builder Lola Cars International Ltd has been pródiga in successes and as such will so for the third consecutive season. In what has SportMotores.com determine, the largest news team of António Simões for 2008 could be in the engine, since the Portuguese training is examining a number of possibilities without descorar the block AER that used in the last two seasons. The Lola B05/40 is now being dismantled in the workshops of ASM Team and not returned to the slopes to test this year. Meanwhile, Lola Cars is preparing to test for the first time in December the B08/60 LMP1 Coupe. original article: http://193.126.231.100/sportmotores2003/do?com=DS;9570420100;101;+PAGE(1002)++K-NOTICIA(21470); |
