Yes yes yes! First season was 2013, then missed a couple before returning up to now. A real privilege to drive that car.

The Lancia appears to have Swedish stripes, if that helps narrow it down.

I kept the programmes of the various other meetings I snapped, late 70s through to early 90s, but not this one, grrr...

The number 8 Mustang appears to be Nikki Torregiani's car who raced in the ICS championship around 1994 to 1998. Looking at the crowd it could have been one of the Coys meetings (forerunner of the Silverstone Classic).
Gordon may have some results and be able to date it better.

Fabulous, thanks AGD A105/6. Peter Millward in the Lola Aston, Reg Woodcock TR3, but I can't name any of the other drivers.

David Auger driving the Gulf Mirage at that time.
I can provide the rest of the names if needed.
I have pics (of varying quality) and programmes from JDC Silverstone 79, 80, 81, 84, 85, 86 and 88, plus JDC Mallory 80 and 81, and sundry HSCC and other events 80 - 95 ish.
Let me know if you want any specific cars/drivers/events posted.
Mods, if you prefer a separate thread, no problem, otherwise I'm happy yo piggy-back Bauble's. Eeuw, now there's an image.

Morninggents, thanks for the steer on the unknown event date.

Anything HSCC, AMOC, VSCC, JDC etc from the '80s I'd love to see. I was at a lot of those meetings and love the look of the pre-digital photos. But don't worry if it involves the dreaded scanning. Phil

These are some scanned film shots from one of the Coys Historic Festivals at Silverstone. I don't know the year, but they are from when they held a demo event on the old rally sprint arena where the Porsche centre is now.

And before anybody points it out, I know picture 2 is not a Hilman Imp as I titled it!

Maybe I should throw in an old one I found..... taken I believe at the 1974 World Cup Rally. Obviously a Bentley and driven by the eccentric (and sadly, the late) Keith Schellenberg.
Apologies for the quality, not really appropriate in the quality contributions of others but I recently found the photo in my old damp garage where it had languished in a cardboard box for 35 years, with damage to the colours the result. So I dried it out and scanned it..... just thought someone might be interested.
I seem to recall the rally started in London and did a special stage 'somewhere in Surrey/home counties' where I took this photo. I think the cars were en route to Southampton to get the ferry to France.

Edit... sorry Bob for the size.... I tried to post it as a smaller thumbnail but when I originally posted and clicked it it wouldnt enlarge so posted it slightly larger.
