Misano WSB - Bayliss Double

I'm not even going to bother posting the results as I didn't even bother watching the races. It's got the point where the outcome is already known, it's just that we end up watching 25 or so laps of Bayliss taking his time nowadays. He's just that dominant.

Try as he might, Edwards just can't do anything about it, yet he is amazingly still only 49 points behind thanks to his consistent finishing record.

The rest of the field haven't stood a chance all year.

I watched both races, you have just got applaud how good Bayliss is on the Ducati. And Edwards he is always trying and with only 49 points the different, can it be done, not on current form, but with a summer break soon between races, a trip to america, or am I just pulling at straws.

Raven should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

How do you think Bayliss will do next year?

Raven, it depends on what he rides. If he stays SBK, then he'll probably win, win and win. If, as is more likely, he goes MotoGP, it will depend on how good the new bike is straight out of the box. Most likely it will mid-pack at the start.

Bayliss is 99% sure of racing in Moto-GP next year. And knowing how good Ducati is, their bike will certainly be quick from the get-go.

There is two rumours going round at the moment

1- As f1manoz says, Bayliss is 99% sure to race in MotoGP next year

2- The second is that he wants to stay WSBK, saying at his age he would rather race a winning bike rather than be on a bike at the beginning of it's development which will likely be mid-field at best.

I want to see him in MotoGP next year!

His performances are almost Doohan-like. Total control, dominance and intimidation.

I'd love to see him on a Superbike, because with these new rules and Corser back, I don't think he'll win win win

MotoGP is seen as the top echelon of motorcycle racing however, and I'm sure before he retires Bayliss would like a crack at glory in that series.

Is there anyone who's won both the MotoGP crown and the World superbike championships?

Nope. Corser had a crack as reigned Superbike champion, but his bike was hopeless. Same with John Kocinski.

Bayliss and the flying Duke really are a class act. I think he will go to MotoGP and finnish top 10.
