Yep. Pretty easy stuff.

But...given the trouble they've had dispatching a lone Pesca today you have to wonder what they can hold against the likes of Peugeot and Audi at Le Mans?

Will be tough against the Peugeots and Audi's in June but remember this is their first race. Much learning to do...

Speaking of Audi's the Kolles performance has been shocking, I wonder if they will manage to improve for Spa.

That's a shame, was rather hoping the Pesca could hang on.

Why does everyone think that a new team can just show up and beat everyone in sports car racing, particularly with a bunch of open-wheel drivers? This isn't quite as easy as it looks.

With regards to Kolles it's important to remember the R10 struggled here a bit last year, I believe one of the cars even got outqualified by Verstappen's Spyder. I also think the driver lineup isn't as sharp as it could be. Albers is the only one who has any R10 experience, and Krumm only drove the R8 in 2002. Once the other drivers gain experience, I think they will be fine.

I agree with that, but come on, 28th !!!!!!

With a car like that, and the driver they have it should have been a relatively easy top ten. (appart from things like a broken suspension)

As an aside, has anybody else noticed the "Breaking News" next to the live timing sheet on the official website seems to have gone back to last year's race - (#59 Aston, #15 Creation). Not very helpful.

How about Detroit last year when AGR won.

It depends on the outfit - if you have the right mindset, the right drivers and the cash to invest in developing a good car you can be quick out of the box, but perhaps in this case the challenge was underestimated...? Too early to say for certain.

What is a certainty is that the choice of the R10 is one which can't have been taken lightly, to me it seems like a poor one as last yeat the car was barely quicker than the Lola-Aston. Furthermore the cost and complexity which comes with the Audi badge makes me wonder why they didn't go for a different customer option.

The Kolles performance hasn't been nearly as impressive as it should have been.

Too often the cars looked a real handful, and there's no reason why they should be that far back. I suspect they're discovering that the R10 is not a simple, straightforward car, and the drivers might not have the overall experience to get the most out of it. I see them having a very uphill time of it this year.

I shouldn't be surprised by this, but the pace of the Pescarolo is highly impressive, bearing in mind that this is essentially its shakedown run. The prospects for this as a season overall are absolutely fantastic.

Spot on. The likes of TK and McNish have always said the car isn't the easiest to drive and they are the best endurance racing has to offer. Add in the new rear wing which the car was not designed for and you've got a challenging ride I imagine!.
