I really liked the one off red white green "italian flag" livery Alfa ran last year

looks like this year we will see a lot of verv very very very....very dark blue and black... and red

He just needs a good NASCAR style nickname. Maybe "Walt" Bottas or better yet "bare ass" Bottas. Then he needs to start referring to the other drivers by car number and not name.

Quite like it actually. From that front on angle especially.

Something to be said about these kinds of videos and online launch…can see a lot of detail on the car. Is any of that detail real, who knows but it looks cool!

Yeah, the Ferrari livery is no surprise, but looks great as always. I'm glad they have resisted the urge to have a carbon fibre black livery.

Its a good question. I tend to use "paint" as a generic term that covers classic paint (spray) as well as wrap (vinyl). I assume they wrap vs. paint. I think I read somewhere that wrap can be lighter than paint which surprised me! I think the weight savings might happen if you have a complex design (look at McLaren these days) that might be multiple paint layers vs a single vinyl layer.

I also assume when they says "bare carbon", it means bare. That they have not painted some type of clear coat on the carbon. I don't have experience with carbon construction, but I wonder what type of processing (surface treatment) is performed on the parts after they come out of molds. Such as polishing, etc.

Many cars are part and part. Wrapping is lighter but paint is generally better for aero/drag.

There's not so much bare carbon as it's draggy, but it tends to be laquered - similar to skis.

They didn't though, check out all the unpainted bits! Especially that random bit where the Ceva logo is, which looks rather strange.



I'm used to the new livery now, but prefer the 2022 livery better.
