Rod Birley should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
On July 30/31st, practice and one race Saturday 4.30 pm, second race Sunday 2.40 pm. Lydden 6th August should be split races for T&R, but unlikely to have southern sports and saloons.

Good news (for some), I've finally got my new axle - though it's a jigsaw puzzle at the moment.

With that sorted, I just have to get the timing right on the engine again (after some wazzock took the dizzy out without marking it first!)

Yeah, OK Dave, it was me.

Rob.

The two holes are too close together. Reasonable mistake to make in the heat of a win, when trying to get refuelled! Plus the P is different on the other foot! Least yours had oil in! Rob needs to buy shares in Castrol or Duckhams. Still you lost your Snap On tray while we drained it!

Sorry, I had to go outside and take some pictures of the 9" axle that I've put in the back of my Omega estate.....

Then it's a case of getting them out of the phone and into the blasted computer, and then to a size that this forum can cope with.

Damn technology.

Check out the profile pic, you'll see that I have put oil in the 9" axle already.

haggispeed has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Getting back on thread. Does anyone know if the single seaters have a race at this meeting ? Have left message and e-mailed Claire but no luck, looking to give my Clubmans car a run but need an entry form.

Who said it was a Typo error, those cats can be right stubborn you know.

Yeah I have had a puter problem at home and had to buy a new one, still setting it up so not on line there yet.

Andy has emailed me the entry form for Lydden (thanks Andy) and if I can make some progress on the car over the weekend I may well enter on Monday but it will only be for a poodle round as me and the car are getting on a bit and we are both a bit rusty as well .

Seriously it will not be competitive but with the two race format will give me a chance to fiddle with it if you guys don't mind a mobile chicane, I will get out ya way promise! Also the ModProds are there and the CTCRC so I would not mind there scrut giving the car an eyeball to make sure it conforms. Oh and it will sound nice!

That's the most important bit.

Crisp, sharp, crackling.,,,,,....mmmm roast pork.... oops, food again!

Who's going to be there Friday evening? Not sure what time our barge will hove into view, but I'm aiming to leave here between 3 & 4, no doubt with a stop en-route to feed the crew chief. Should be there 7-30 to 8.

Rob.

With regard to the single seaters they were not on the original list because the ERA guys (Tigers actually, but the some company) are going to Mallory Park that weekend. Without them it was felt the entry would be very slim. If that is not the case we can look again at the prospect of running single seaters/clubmans cars if there is a reasonable entry into double figures.
