shocking day for aussies at daytona.....
mat mladin highsides in superbike practice and chips bone in elbow, ouch ! , 50/50 if he will race....
anthony & aaron gobert crash with tommy hayden on lap 8 of supersport race , anthony says he will be right to race superbike , aaron is in a stable condition, reports say "Aaron Gobert is in stable condition with two collapsed lungs, fractured vertebrae, broken tibia and fibula and a moderate concussion. Gobert is not experiencing any paralysis and is being kept sedated at Halifax" for the record, aaron yates won and alex gobert finished 16th ahead of his team-mate jake zemke. lets hope that the wsb aussie boys have a better start to the championship then the lads in america. |

Definitely not the way to get the season started.
As for the Aussie WSB guys... it should be a pretty good race between them for second place. Go Ben! |

Just saw it all on Speed channel. Mladin will race. He had horrible road rash to the elbow, that required 4 hours of surgery.

Can anyone give up date on Aaron Goberts condition? What an absolutely horrible way to start the season, quite sickening.I have my fingers crossed for all involved that they mend very soon.

Doesn't surprise me. No matter how injured the rider, the first words out of their mouth when you get to them are "is my bike alright!"

Aussies have enough success in WSB IMO, nice to know that someone else can win
