Imagine it will be the same top 2 in for race 2, if the FWD cars can't challenge [Sutton and Turkington] with no ballast they have little chance with nearly the same amount.
Sutton and Turkington are both exceptional drivers, but it does seem like something isn't quite equal... |

Equal means utopian. I get all these sentiments about certain cars being 'too good' but on the other hands they're all built within regulations. Moffat was ninth, Oliphant eighth so it shows these cars are not unbeatable.

That's true, but they still shouldn't be *consistently* P1 and 2 with full ballast. Hope to be proved wrong in R2.

Cook has bad luck strike again, when will he catch a break?
Wish would we could see what happened between Neate and Gornall. Was anyone there able to see it? Oh yeah! No spectators are there! Good win for Sutton, another good result for Turkington and Hill this time gets his podium on the road |

Actually I like when title contenders are often on podium and winning a lot (seems title is then won more beautifully ) but of course BTCC is all about 'variety' so everyone wants different winners and difference podium contenders. Let's see what will happen in R2 but I think it's still not a reason to worry too much about, let's say, too much of a dominance.

I don’t think we need to worry too much, the racing is still good and the cream rises to the top. Just because we are not getting 17 different winners in 2018 doesn’t mean things need to change

I'm expecting Turkington to attack Sutton more than he did in race one. He won't want Sutton to be fewer than ten points behind in him the standings. He could always punt him off like he did at Donington...

Seems like the opposite happened. Sutton pushing Turks over the white line isn't really OK in any other series.
Poor Cook. Can't get a break. |

But BTCC's not like any other series
No words for Cook's bad luck. It's just incredible. |

Like, normally he's fine and the rest of the race was clean. But pushing cars over track limits shouldn't be allowed. But hey, this is BTCC - it's never been about the fairest and cleanest racing lol.

That Mini race was quite something - some great moves in there (and some not so great).

Sutton even said in the post race interview after that incident, that Turkington was punted into him.

The thought of anyone claiming Turks is not a clean driver is amusing. I mean, we have been watching the same series for the last 2 decades right? Cleanest driver the series has ever made.
