Maybe Mystic Miller should be a regular slot on www.clubff1600.co.uk.

No disrespect intended No4, I rate Jamie. I was more talking about the perception side of it.

Justin and other prize money winners!
I was assured at the BRSCC Midlands Centre meeting this week that the cheques are written, signed and available for delivery this Sunday at Mallory, any people not there will get them posted after the meeting.
( they are not written by me, signed by me or distributed by me)
Thanks for the "patience" and continuing to support the BRSCC Midlands Centre championship.

My prediction for winners....Van Diemen or Reynards are in with a shout!

and, get within a second of a top time and you might just make the top ten. some/most other places you'll be second.

Seems very quiet this morning on the FF front
Race reports can be found at clubff1600 and I have put a few pictures up while I still can

For those who can't be bothered to go check Gavin Wills took both rounds

you usual £5 will be fine.

really liked this photo of the event.
http://paulsands.org/mal200604/som/slides/Img_4602.html

Looks like the website is really working, I got a good feel for what went on coupled with the photos.

the next step I feel is for Ian/Matt to establish a video crew to tape the races.

Seriously though sounds like a good two races.

Did any of the bad weather get down to you ?

Gotta be careful cos of rights etc. on top of other things I was informed that the companies that provide in car videos for people are infringing circuits rights by doing that and could be liable to cough up...dodgy times

It was cold in the morning and threatened rain but none really materialised...race 2 was sunny and hot

As for photos my best lens is probably too big for use at Shaws Hairpin but I like it as it creates that sensation of bustle and chaos

I went to Mallory for the first time yesterday and got to watch the second FF race. A big well done to Justin on his second place, he was making up places lap after lap. Shame that the "original" battle for the lead came to an end for Jamie when contact was made at the hair pin but it was an excellent dice up to that point.
I enjoyed my first trip to Mallory and now that I know where it is I will make sure it's included in my 2005 marshalling plans.

Claire,

Glad you enjoyed it.

Some excellent racing. More overtaking than we see in F1 over a season. Well done to Gavin. Class act.

I could've got another battle going on behind in the same pic but it wouldve been a bit too busy..it was good close racing all the way through...the midfield battles equally as exciting...gotta get more drivers to give me more to shoot
