I'd love a new Lola P1 picture in 1280 res

Most event pictures on the news websites aren't high enough res

Unfortunately the pictures on EI aren't the right proportions. They're 1024, yes, but not 768 vertical.

If I get some good pictures this year I'll make up some high res sportscar desktops. There are some fantastic photos on endurance-info and the-paddock but they're just not in high res

Most are wallpaper sort of size to kick off...
No point throwing bigger ones up, folks just nick 'em anyway!

My pics are orginally 2592x1944, so could be cropped or resized to pretty much any wallpaper size!

what i meant was i crop mine down to 1080/800

theyre much bigger than that standard, but not HUGE, thats just big for big's sake!

I wasn't commenting on your size...., just pointing out to anyone that wanted a wallpaper that having a start point bigger than required means that pictures can be cropped and resized accordingly. Most, if not all, digital cameras will be taking pictures at higher than needed resolution by default.
