Mr Jinxx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Scott Mansell was Alex Lloyd's team mate at the official test at Indianapolis last week, so good luck to Scott, and I'm happy if he's got something together for this year - I was there at the test, he's a nice guy

EuroBOSS 2006

The second EuroBOSS race 2006, planned for next weekend at Jarama/Spain together with TGP, is cancelled! The circuit organization will not have a event at this date!

Next race for us is the Super Prix in Zolder/Belgium (8.-9. July), together with the very popular Dutch Supercar Challenge, the powerful Rhino`s/Euro GT Series and the Benelux Racing League with their V6 cars.

Two new races, as replacement for Spa and Jarama, announced shortly.

Why not join the LMS

Their support races at both Nürburgring and Jarama aren't great. Donington i don't even know.

LMS Nürburgring really needs a good support series, but one week after our race in Zolder..? Not good for drivers and teams!
Jarama no, Donington why not...
Wait and see!

EuroBOSS - F3 Masters/Zandvoort

On monday this week, at the official BP Ultimate Masters of F3/Zandvoort press conference became announced, that the EuroBOSS series is one of the main attraction at this event!

A sprint race on saturday evening and our main race on sunday after the F3!

Our good EuroBOSS friend Scott Mansell had last weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway his first IndyPro race in 2006!

Started from 13th position, finished on the 14th place!

Good luck for the next races, Scott!

News from Zolder? Ok, here they are...

Race 1
1. Klaas Zwart - Ascari Judd V10 4.0l
2. Johny Laursen - Ascari Judd V10 4.0l
3. Pierre Schroeder - Ascari Judd V10 4.0l
4. Paul Smith - Simtek Ford HB V8 3.5l
5. Tony Hansford - Arrows Cosworth V8 3.5l
6. Christian Vanhee - Lola Cosworth V8 3.5l
7. Carlos Tavares - Dallara Nissan V6 3.0l

Karl-Heinz Becker - Dallara Nissan V6 3.0l DNF (accident after two laps)
Patrick d`Aubreby - DNS (Clutch problems after warm-up)
Henk de Boer - DNS (technical problems after warm-up)

Race was red flagged after three laps, because a accident from Karl-Heinz Becker.
Car and driver ok!
Therefore it gave a restart. The race result is the result after the restart!

Fastest Lap: Johny Laursen = 1.18.367min

Race 2
1. Klaas Zwart
2. Johny Laursen
3. Pierre Schroeder
4. Paul Smith
5. Tony Hansford
6. Carlos Tavares
7. Christian Vanhee

Patrick d`Aubreby - DNS
Henk de Boer - DNS
Karl-Heinz Becker - DNS

Fastest Lap: Klaas Zwart = 1.18.093min

A good, fair and interesting battle in race two between Laursen and Schroeder, but Schroeder makes a little mistake in the last lap, therefore it was a easy way to the second place for Laursen.

Johny Laursen set in the warm-up session on sunday morning a fantastic time of 1.17.547, normally a new outright lap record for the changed Zolder circuit, but we know, a record can be broken only in a race!

My result over this weekend: It was a good weekend, but we have seen already better races with EuroBOSS!

Next race: 05-06 August, BP Ultimate Masters of F3, Zandvoort
...with Klaas Zwart in his ex-Alesi Ferrari 3.5l V12 (412T2, 1995, Chassis No.157)

22-23 July, Eurospeedway Lausitz, would say the race is cancelled (too 90%), because of little problems with the Belcar Organisation (first Belcar event in Germany) - in the moment it gives only a small chance for a race at this event!

First of all, hi i'm new to this forum.
and second- nice looking entry list for Zandvoort
I am quite a fan of EuroBOSS (much more than F1), but i lost touch with it since 2004.
The last race I attended was at Brands Hatch in May 04, but when I heard it was making a return to the UK I jumped at the chance to go. I know it's been 3 months since the race at Brands, but i've never had the chance to talk about it.
Definatley the best driving went to Nigel Greensall and the best sounding car was the Tyrell of Frits Van Eerd.
2 Questions I was wondering if anyone can answer.
1) according to the race programme and msttiming, Zwart and Van Eerd both were shown as having V8's. The engines didn't sound like them.
2) Will EuroBOSS ever return to brands or the UK for that matter?

Check this for the video I made, it's the second race at Brands Hatch.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fg8d8p1b17M

It does contain very random comments and often false info. (Please excuse the swearing!)

Better stop as I'm waffling a bit!

@Speedblood
Welcome in the ten-tenths forum and a special welcome from me in the EuroBOSS-Thread!
Nice to hear from you, that you are a fan from the EuroBOSS series.
I would say this is a good decision!

To your questions...
1)Brands Hatch 2006: Frits van Eerd - Tyrrell 3.0l V8! Klaas Zwart - Ascari/Benetton 4.0l V10! It is correct, you can hear the difference! Klaas Ascari is screaming higher/louder...

2)Generally UK i say yes, because it is our "Homeland" (but not my )! With Brands we must see, after the noise problems this year?!

We have still this year Mondello Park/Ireland (9-10 september).

A good, behind the "iron curtain", Brands Video from you.

Thanks for the welcome!
Did Van Eerd really have a V8?! That was a totally different V8 to what I expected!
Yes that fence really is annoying, but I suppose it is for us spectators safety.

Whether anyone can answer this, but what were the noise problems all about?
