Rebellion isn't too far off for this being their first race with the new car. Surprised the HPD's aren't faster.

sincerly i thought that during the pratice audi kept on running around 2.04 to do a qualifying reaching an high 2.00, but now i won't be surprised if they will run under 2.00 (rain permitting)

Aston Martin in the 2:19's. Looking good. Also Audi in the 2:01's.

that timelap of the aston is suspicious, but for sure tomorrow will be the slowest wec gt-pro. Red flag for some reason.

How do you figure it's suspicious? They did do the most laps along with the Felbermayer team. Maybe Aston is legit and you just don't agree.

i disagree because in sebring and more recently in long beach race, the car never had the pace of best gte cars, in my opinion the vantage marked that lap just before the short rain period that came in the middle of the session, after that only audi #1 improved the time lap. Trust, i really like aston martin cars but realisticly the vantage v8 meanwhile all gift received from bop, can just fight against the best pro-am teams and hope that someone of 3 458 and 1 997 than run in gt-pro will retire to finish in a better place.

Maybe they finally got it right . I dont feel its suspicious at all . Good team , brilliant drivers ..... maybe they found a tweek that worked .
There would be no point in doing that , as they will have to pass post qualy scrutineering , and would look like right nobs . |

we will see during the qualifying and race; if AMR/prodrive really came back with a performant "gulfed" GT car i'll be the first to be happy

Remember the GT Astons have always been quick at the fast flowing circuits i.e. spa and silversone. That goes for the dbr9, dbrs9, and the v8 vantage GT2 and GT4, all of which have had good results at these tracks

Remember that the Vantage at Sebring had one of the fastest race pace.

GT quali is on.
Anyone else getting tired with this ever-ending "it might be a small field but it's about quality, not quantity" and "everyone can win this, absolutely" talk whenever GTE-Pro is mentioned. I don't exactly expect RLM to scream that the class is somewhat in trouble but the praise still gets a bit tidious at times. And since it's my favourite class, that's saying something... |

Larbre onboard coverage!! Hopefully we get more of this in June!
e: terrible sound on stream (surprise) so mute that and listen the regular RLM feed instead |

They should've put Bruni in instead of Fisi...
IMSA was using run-off tarmac way too much (another reason why Spa isn't qute what it used to be)! Hope they won't get penalised though, if only because of my FRC picks Also funny to notice how little difference there appears to be before the two Larbres, as the drivers in the #70 can be seen as much more gentleman |

it seems that i was wrong about vantage, the gt-pro performance level is almost the same (even if porsche and AMR have been advantaged a lot by bop, while ferrari was 15kg penalized)... at the end there were 2 men of personell of the track were trying to rape each other...

All it tells to me that the Ferrari 458 is the best GT car of the field by a country mile and if all the cars were run to the regulations they were [supposed to be] built to, we would have Audi-esque difference between the prancing horses and the rest of the runners. Corvette would come second, then a big gap and a finally battle between Porsche and Aston for the final spot

I love it, three minutes to go and #2 is already posing in the pits for their pole... nicely orchestrated by Audi to get ther preferred car on top
