I was expecting the Acura to look much bigger vs the Indycars, but it doesn't. I think the windscreen on the Dallaras makes them appear a little larger, but I would like to see this as a side angle shot too! And why not throw in a Bentley GT3 for comparison.....

on tv screen lmp2 and dpi look like big cars but you would be surprised about how small and tiny they are if seen in real life. Side to side GTE look huge compared to them. |

Or a BMW! Which I guess is lower, but with a bigger footprint.

I was surprised seeing the M4 at Sebring against other cars, Daytona didn't make it as obvious but that thing must be as big as the M8. It's GIGANTIC vs the rest of the field, even the Lexus looks small

BMW really have put a lot into this effort. That car is a real tough competitor and should be something a few teams will be interested in. The others will have to up the game, but no reason why they can't. Although the series has been through tough times, the likes of BMW, Ferrari and Lexus are keeping things interesting in the series

Cars have begun circulating on some random streets in Cali.
We have practice 1 and 2 plus qualifying today. |

RLL BMW goes off at T1 to cause a red flag, but the car was able to move on its own afterwards.

It appears NBC has learned, IMSA.tv coverage on Peacock not USA network airing so far so that's good

Nice start.
Well apart from Dirani losing a bit of bodywork before the start at the hairpin. |

How long till the coverage goes to a Jimmie Johnson skiing article? I’m watching in Italy so on IMSA TV. And I haven’t made a drink yet so can’t down it because of the TV talk in the IMSA drinking game. |

As long as it is RLM stays on no mention of that retired guy hitting the wall in the other series. No matter how much the Racer comment section decided that would be all everyone talked about with him breaking his arm. FYI, they aren't doctors there and his fractured hand is in the other race.
Well that's odd, RLM audio except in commercials I guess? Makes me think they screwed up the input audio stream Ah crap, they figured out out so we had NBC knucklehead for 15 seconds there but now nothing other than cars so improvement I guess |

And now they "fixed" it and made it worse again.
Hey Bill, shut up. Your car can't figure out the rules AND you think 20 minutes running means your car is now getting better and tires are coming back? Seems like Paul Miller guys figured things out so? |

Pole was about 4s slower for the DPis. In a 64s lap for the Indycars. Not sure if this surprising or not. Just interesting.

Yellow! That’s kerbed the racing.
Bamber is in the car. Ready to try and win the race several times again? |
