Sorry Richard W, that was at least as much your fault as his...

Looks like the 5 JDC Caddy is done, unless some lucky caution puts them back on the lead lap. And yes, as gert said, I agree there was Richard's fault there too.

That was suspiciously similar to the Corvette shunt at Le Mans.
Edit - Red flag for rain. The radar did look busy the last time they showed it. |

Red flag ???
For just a single car? It was a stupid accident, but nothing more than that, surely? |

Red flag. Storms.
Hope it passes quickly and safely. Time to promote the Safety car discussion: https://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156878 |

There is not even rain on track, or is there?

So, depending on the time the race is stopped it solves some pit stop dilemmas?

As you’ve said before.
But not a surprise. It is standard procedure. Perhaps one for the how you can’t enjoy this racing thread. It’s stickied |

So, I’d lost track a little before the stoppage. And don’t have the lappage data.
Who benefits from this and how much does it depend on how long the stoppage is? For different teams the number of stops require will change and the track position advantage. And will they have to restart with a wet track? Or will they be lucky? Fans are tying stuff down! I remember having to do that at Sebring. |

I think it is raining a little bit right now. If I remember right, John said it's not about the rain itself but about thunderstorms. IMSA's safety rules mandate the race to be red flagged in such situation.

Let's hope it remains red flagged. That's the same for everyone.
And the least artificial. |

I don’t hope it remains red flagged. It is good for some bad for others whatever.
Please take the usual to the thread about it. Then we can really tackle that new interesting topic and give it the full space it needs. Trying to decipher the timing information, but I think if and when it restarts then it impacts GT more than the prototypes in this race. |

I missed the first couple of hours which sounded like the hours to miss but this isn't much fun at all. Proper wet but looks it could clear out for some late running?

Haven't seen a list for anyone but LMP3 for Mosport but Dagys hinted multiple teams in IMSA won't be joining the series trip to Canada. Interesting to see who can't/won't make the trip and what it could do to the standings, start the race and you at least get last place points but no show and I'm assuming you get a zero.

It is getting old and annoying. All of it.
There is no need to insult even if another user is being tedious. There is a thread to talk about how the SC and stoppage rules work. Posts removed. /mod. |

Doesn’t look like it.
No RLM updates at the moment. Although I might have missed as I was catching up with Goodwood. |

Also I don't see any reason for it to remain red flagged for sooooo long. Those current shots on IMSA TV show no rain and a pretty clear sky.

IMO, that's probably for the best.
Running a 6 hour endurance as a 20 minute sprint with everyone bunched up seems like a recipe for more wrecks and disasters... |
