750 MC (Snetterton, 30/7/11) BBQ

All,

If you're marshalling at Snetterton for the 750 meeting next weekend, a reminder (Pete Harding should have passed the message on) that we RGB people are hosting our annual marshals BBQ on the evening of the 30th, the Saturday.

I've just placed an order for a prodigious number of burgers and will be raiding Tescos for drinkable substances on the way to Snett. So, feel free to come along and enjoy yourselves at our expense. We rely on you lot for the rest of the year and it's nice to put something back.

Cheers,

Tim Hoverd

BBQ

I bet cold burgers arent as nice for breakfast as cold pizza or the student back up cold baked beans.

On behalf of the marshals many thanks for a very enjoyable BBQ and the hospitality provided by the RGB competitors, which was extremely welcome after a busy day's racing.

Certainly was greatly appreciated by all the marshals present - Thanks to everyone involved in the planning and organisation of the BBQ and for the invite.

Great food and beer - thanks! It's the little things like that that really make us feel appreciated

Thanks to everyone who came, the evening worked out very well and we even had decent weather...

We ran a surplus of £170 (essentially because Ken Cutmore, the dad of John Cutmore who races with number 3, donated the burgers, bangers and buns). We'll be paying that into the club's marshal's fund.

Thanks again,

Tim
