Sounds like Williams are hiring Rosberg simply to ensure they have first call on his services in the future.

It goes to show how impressive Priaulx's test was, doesn't it? The first test was a present from BMW, but this demonstrates he did well.

Rosberg is the more likely to get a race drive in future - maybe they'll loan him out for 2006 and then see if there's a seat available in the F1 team the year after. Any testing he does now is for him to gain experience, whereas Andy's presence is more productive for development of the car, especially in terms of wet-weather ability.
