Welsh Rally..whats Ur Fav Bit ????

Today i done the shakedown at swansea service area.
Fairly quiet all in all,but when it`s your 1st welsh GB rally it makes all the difference.
The whole experience and difference of what you see on the telly gives a better understanding of what really goes on behind the camera`s.
i`m going to be attending the special stage in cardiff and cant wait for it.
only managed to take aout 60 pics today, but plenty of time to get more....

So what`s your favourite likes or even dislikes about the rally....

look forward to your comments

Look out for the wheelchair then in the stadium as I and a couple of colleagues will be marshalling the first corner UNDER the grandstand before the cars enter the arena!!!!! We'll be in Cardiff as from noon onwards!!!

It's also my first Rally GB so am looking forward to it as well.

OoOhh, err, the stages to the north, probably, at the risk of upsetting the Valley boys, it seems odd driving through a housing estate, round someones house, then you are on a stage! Epynt, under the stewardship of Lord Rees has some nice views of the stage, as does Halfway, should be some more interest this year with the bigger entry, someone may even put the car sideways, the Modern WRCs dont look terrribly exiting, but that is a different discussion. As with the GP, the chance to see the best in the World in the best kit is allways worth seeing!

Spectated it a few years ago, think it was Halfway i enjoyed most despite the typical Welsh weather. The super special at the docks was fun, and well organised too. Just wish they'd get some balls and go back to Grisdale again

Naturally dear chap! Naturally!

I would like to say that I was no tvery amused by the superspecial this evening - the Actuall rally was bery good, but the MPH thing in the middle I feel was too disruptive and potentially dangerous to the following competitors. I prefered last year's show where the entire rally followed a short show.

Well 1st day on rally parc ferme, was a bit worried with 2 of the drivers n navigators as they managed to walk down to the out time control and carried on walking past parc ferme.
seems like the drivers are lost without there navigators..
just as much as the navigators are lost without the paperwork,
so for there troubles we sent them all the way back to tc in,just to make them walk the right way...
btw i`m acting gorilla at parc ferme gate...
sunday i think i might turn to rotweiller mode, and before you ask...
i wont be on all 4`s..
thats anuva day anuv astory lol
but its been a brill few days.
ss13 at the stadium was a bit pants..
after the 6th car,the 5 flames shooting in the air got a bit tedious..
and just think them lovely spectators paid £30 a ticket..
we left just after 8pm n there were rally cars going in to the stage,
including the ones stuck in traffic..
so just sunday left to have fun

Laid Back? Laid Back??? It doesn't get more laid back than what we had today! we spent more time waiting for something to happen than doing it.

Still, got Tabard signed a couple of times (thank you Alistar McRae) and I think I'll return to Parc Ferme, I'm good at that!

After a delegated meeting with myself...
my otherself has decided that due to the fact we all ready have one rotweiller in the team.
I should delegate myself to being the team Gorilla.....

as of this day forward 08/12/06
if there are no objections placed.
i will take up the position of gorilla..
putting myself 2nd in place to the rotweiller..
to irritate as many peolple as possible who try to enter a restricted area...

We must have done something to Kris Meeke, he never came back to get his car on Sunday morning.

It was still there by Lunchtime.

Someone moved it after we had gone from PF and done Re-fueling.

Ok, To recap

Rotweiler - ... surely not broom pusher!?
Gorilla - Gachjoel
Marshal I/C International Relations - me
Marshal I/C Creative Vehicular Parking - Startline Ed.

So what does that leave for the rest of the gang? Especially Norry.

Thats simple....
1..norry will be asleep
2..when norry is awake, someone will have to run behind him,to catch him when he falls offs the back of the next vehicle.
3..someone to take the picture
4..cant say for the rest of them..but i do know one thing, when there is an accident then we`ll know what to do.
till then

get the kettle on
