Sandgroper should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

BTW, slightly OT, is GTRMagic some sort of insider with some form of credibility on the series? I'm kinda assuming as I'm new to the game, given his regular popups on these silly season threads.
I agree with Andre, Great driver and all round nice guy.

Not sure on his credentials in the paddock but GTR generally seems on the money.

Welcome, sadly these threads have slowed over the years but great to have more input.

Likewise, like to see Andre at Triple8.

Over many years on this forum, GTR always provides some very good information and inside running on all things supercars!

Wonder if Mr Dane’s holiday in Europe might have multiple purposes..
It would be a perfect springboard from the south of France to select say a main game pilot…

Probably hard to argue with that list, but I do think Cam Waters & Tickford have a different view of Cam's contractual position.

Also is it unkind of me now to basically put David Reynolds in with Jack Smith as a pay driver?

Speedcafe reporting that, Will Brown is SVG replacement for next year.

Who will take his seat at Erebus?

Looking forward to Barry Ryan’s comments!

Story Here

So.. who bought out the contract?
Could #1 be going to 888 next year?

Is this REALLY the best 888 could get?

Anything wrong with young Will? IMO he's one of the brightest young guns in the grid alongside Kostecki and Feeney and I'd actually be very happy to see him at Triple 8.

Young Will, is a clean cut young bloke- what you see is what you get.

He will be taken into 888, and be quietly moulded into a top class racing driver and an ambassador for Red Bull.

Get them young, and train them right.

I am sure Roland will be involved in this exercise.

I don't think he wants to be fulltime.

Seems content doing the odd test, the enduros, and some GT racing.

These things seems contradictory!

If (Erebus-bound?) Kai Allen is the next Lowndes, perhaps 888 will feel they have erred by locking in Brown instead, but it remains to be seen.

Brown, like de Pasquale before him, is certainly very, very competent, whether or not either becomes a multiple ATCC champion.

Kai may be a touch too young in this instance.

I guess it fits the old ******* of the grid is propped up by caravan money.

Maybe he should race with a forgotten picnic basket on the roof of the car and a hat on the parcel shelf.

Brown is by far the most marketable personality at Erebus. If JC comes along, it's because they need the funding.

Brown would be one of the most Marketable in the paddock based on personality AND the kid can steer.

JC Buys a seat.

I hope Richie finds a seat. Would be good to see him back in the game. Hope his persona changes to suit.

You can see a one year deal in place, waiting for all the brand names to come off contract at the end of 2024

Although Erebus and 888 seem to have shown that contracts are as useful as birdcage liner at retaining unwilling pilots.

With Waters staying a year longer at Tickford, could he be joining Erebus in 2025 in such a scenario?

Wouldnt be surprised to see JC end up at Grove for 12 months before their GT3 copilot becomes a free agent from his current contract.
