Crash and Burn should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Prost saved.

People may or may not like him. A group of French investors is willing to pour as much as ยข44.65m ($40m) into the outfit, a source is reported to have told AFP on Monday.

This will then bring the starting grid back to 24 cars - Hurray!!!

HHF will now probably stay at Prost(he always said he wanted to stay if it was possible), the other driver could be Enge(they still need the sponsorship).

hakkiman....If Justin Wilson was given the chance to race a prost F1 car..i bet he would jump at the chance...as it would give him the perfect chance to learn about F1 and try to beat his team mate ( who could be someone respectable like HHF which would then and impress other team owners...which would get him a foot in the door ....thats why we need full grids ...... before anysome says it , I know Justin isnt in line for the Prost drive , but it needs full grids to give people like him the chance to come into F1......so many good drivers miss the chance because there are not enough F1 seats available.

Good news indeed - even if it does make it harder for Minardi to score that point...

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
Alain was a great driver, no question. However, I suspect his managerial/influencing skills appear somewhat lacking (at least to me). The same thing happened to Emerson, who had oodles of money but got nowhere. Only two F1 drivers, to my knowledge, ever succeeded in creating an F1 team, both antipodeans, and both with great charm and people skills.
I find it very sad that Alain, with the customer Ferrari engine, and good drivers, can't get the car to go properly. Does anyone know the real reason why Diniz left him?

According to a Reuters report yesterday, this is still speculation and staff at Prost are refusing to say anything to the press or anyone else.

Total-F1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pedro Diniz and his father wanted to go make or break with the Prost team - buy the team for $1, take over Alain's debts and have a controlling share of the team.

Alain "Stubborn" Prost wouldn't have any of it and decided to go it alone, whilst the Diniz family wanted their money back - and still do, I gather.

Prost still has the opportunity to make these offers collapse by dint of his still wanting to run the team. He has had numerous offers over the previous months but none of them came to fruition.
