Suzuki is semiretired from the race now.
But, Nissan GTR's record time of Nurburgring(7’38”) owes to his driving.
Kageyama is a still active racing driver. He drives the Hankook Porsche in Super GT this year.

Professor Hayashi says that the ACO demanded the best driver to admit their entry.
So they have chosen veteran drivers.

And Kurosawa is the son of Japanese legend racing driver Motoharu Kurosawa.

Im wondering if Ortelli will be fit for Le Mans ?

Could be a spare seat at Oreca/Courage .

Is there a rule that disallows more than two entries from particular team, or what is reason that #10 Pug is "Peugeot Sport Total" while the other two are "Team Peugeot Total"?

Exactly. Teams are technically limited to two cars per team, but changing the team name on the 3rd car does the trick for the ACO.

Cars #7 and #8 are under Team Peugeot Total, while #9 is under Peugeot Sport Total.

Similarly, Audi will run #1 and #2 at Le Mans under the Audi Sport North America banner, while #3 will be run by Audi Sport Team Joest.

No other teams are running 3 cars, although it's been hinted that the Saulnier Racing #4 Pescarolo might be heavily Pescarolo-aided.

Any news from JCW? I read on project Le Mans .de that he has a hairline fracture in his neck.
Could this mean that he is not ready for le Mans?

Now that we know Ortelli is ok (eg alive) I'm moved to speculate as to whether or not Courage are short of a car (for Spa as well as LM)? Was it the 'new' aero that was destroyed, and did they run both old and new at Monza?

My thoughts too . But as its basicially a Courage LC70 , and they manufacturer it , they stand a good chance of being able to fix it , at least for Le Mans .

i asked the same question before the weekend .. and they run the new aero for both cars ..
Oreca needs 2 cars for LM ..

Aston Martin Racing has confirmed its drivers line-up, Wendlinger/Piccini/Frentzen in 007 car and Turner/Brabham/Garc*a in 009. Interesting ones.

indeed, I am happy for Antonio. I asked him yesterday and he just smiled which was for me the confirmation. This win at Monza has also shown he is the right choice

I personally would have put Wendlinger in the 009 and Garcia in the 007.

The British contingent at LM this year seems a bit light - am I missing something?
Even the Aston line ups seem very continental.
