marcus has a real shot at the podium!marcus has a real shot at the podium!marcus has a real shot at the podium!marcus has a real shot at the podium!
The saga of mark webber continued yesterday when he rufused to test the Arrows f1 car...Mark is driving for the Arrows junior team in F3000 this year and has had some tests for the F1 team erlier this season..all the time tom Walkinshaw has had a contract for mark but he has been unwilling to sign it because he doesnt want to close off any options of driving other F1 cars..now when they finally give him the chance to have a full blown test for the team..he says no because just as he was about to get into the car tom shoved the contract under his nose and said sign or leave..Mark refused to sign and left the circuit...

this is all very silly i think..of course I dont know the full ins and outs of the situation but do you think mark is digging a pretty big hole for himself by not signing the contract..its not as if he will be racing F1 this year..so he might as well sign and go testing..but then it may be a multi year contact and mark has learnt from his problems with mercedes on that one..its a huge shame for us aussie race fans who know he has the talent and carnt wait to see him in F1 but all this stuffing Tom about may not be doing him any good with other team managers who were possibly thinking of giving him a go..he wants to be in F1 next year and maybe not with arrows so he is reluctant to sign with them..just a shame that they carnt sort this out so he can just get in there and show them what he can do.

Minardi fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
We were all expecting to see Webber at Silverstone, and so I was surprised when De La Rosa turned up on Thursday morning. I assume this incident with Webber occurred on Wednesday, because only Jos was on track, and we saw Pedro leave on a motorbike. Obviously he was called in at the last minute.
